GO:1990516: ribonucleotide excision repair (Biological process)

"The pathway by which a ribonucleotide is removed from DNA and replaced by a deoxyribonucleotide. The ribonucleotide is incised by RNase H2, and further excised by an endonuclease. The resulting 1 nt gap is then repaired by DNA polymerase and DNA ligase." [PMID:12475934, PMID:22864116]
